The Pete Wall Duo/Trio/Quartet
The Pete Wall Duo/Trio/Quartet consists of Pete on saxes and flute, and a rotating cast of some of the country's finest rhythm section members. They have been written up as 'Denver's finest young jazz' and have opened for Joshua Redman (Fox Theatre), Robert Bradley (Cervantes), Mandolin Jazz Project (Boulder Theatre) and shared the stage with many jazz greats. Members have featured Andrew Lindstrom, John Grigsby, Doug Anderson, Dave Watts, Garrett Sayers, Erik Deustch, Ross Martin, Christian Teele, Dan Schwindt and Doug Tapia, among others. The Trio/Quartet are known for their unique ability to navigate jazz material in new and progressive ways covering diverse repretorie ranging from Cole Porter standards to late Miles Davis arrangements to Radiohead covers to Ravi Shankar ragas and the broad soundscapes of the avant-garde.
